As we enter into 2025 there is an abundance of meaningful reflection on how we got to where we are today and setting intentions for future endeavours.
2025 marks 9 years since Anbhuti’s establishment, Founder-Director Deepa Pawar was able to build this organisation with unique insight and first hand knowledge because she belongs to a NT – DNT community.
Over the past nine years there has been extraordinary progress made in the social justice space. Anubhuti is a global voice in facilitating intellectual engagement with NT – DNT groups and continues to pursue growth in a number of key facets of humanitarian rights.
- Engaging collaboratively with youth to encourage grassroots leadership and development.
- Practicing feminist values and working to help girls realise their fullest potential.
- Understanding how mental health interacts with marginalised communities and providing education and guidance in navigating that.
- Groundbreaking and innovative humanitarian aid in response to Covid 19. Ranging from physical support like dry food rations and direct bank transfers to modern intangible aid in the form of online mental health trainings.
The new year holds hope. Hope of continuing to expand substantial and long-lasting relationships with marginalized communities. Hope of dismantling the CASTE system that perpetuates social injustices. Hope of advocating for youth and building their leadership skills so they are equipped for a better tomorrow.
