Daan Utsav is a week of giving celebrated across the world as the Joy of Giving Week every year in early October. It is a great opportunity for all of us to use our power of giving to bring about the change that we want to see.
How you can help
Anubhuti works with youth from deprived communities on building their leadership so they can solve their own and their community’s problems. The idea is that instead of giving them charity which can help them for only a limited time, it is necessary for these young people to realise their potential and build their capacities, which will last them and positively affect their families, peers and communities for a lifetime.
We are currently meeting these youth, their families and other important stakeholders about once every week. With your help, we can hold more regular programs, provide them with better resources, bring in more experts to mentor them, and reach out to larger numbers across wider geographical areas.
You can lend your support in various ways:
Visit our community centres in Kolegaon, Dombivali (East) and Bamanwada, Vile Parle (East) with gifts to encourage the youth.
Teach/counsel/mentor the youth in our community centres in Kolegaon, Dombivali (East) and Bamanwada, Vile Parle (East).
Volunteer at an event.
Donate books, Internet connections, computer equipment, etc. to make our centres more resourceful.
Make a monetary donation:

“Funds are hard to come by for upstart NGOs, so I think it’s important to support them at the right time. I chose Anubhuti because they are one of the coolest, cleanest new NGOs around, with out-of-the-box ideas (and execution) centred around youth leadership.”
