Deepa is now an Ashoka Fellow!
We are very glad to announce the selection of our Founder Director, Deepa Pawar as an Ashoka Fellow!
This was truly an achievement as it came after a very rigorous selection process. Over multiple interviews, calls, sharing, presentations, personal and panel interactions and so on, which lasted months, where for every step that Deepa went ahead, each was achieved after proving her perseverance and merit. We as an organization also had much to learn from each of these steps, and we are grateful for that. Even though the process took time, and was difficult, rigorous, and competitive, we are really appreciative that it was based on truth and transparency. And we are so proud and learnt a lot in observing the way that Deepa managed to crack this rigorous process.
And we are most happy to announce this selection in this month of Vimukta Month!
